PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE INTENT OF THE TOWN OF VERNON, VERMONT TO AMEND AN ORDINANCE GOVERNING SPEED LIMITS AND STOP SIGNS Town Website: https://vernonvt.org The Selectboard of the Town of Vernon, Vermont proposes to amend the ordinance establishing legal speed limits for the operation of motor vehicles and directing the placement of stop signs, yield signs and dead end signs within the Town of Vernon as follows: Rename Arling Road to Sak Road. Establish a 25 mph speed limit for Hemlock Road and Aspen Lane A complete copy of the ordinance amendment may be examined at Vernon Town Hall, 567 Governor Hunt Road in Vernon, VT. Town Hall is closed to visitors under COVID-19 restrictions, so a complete copy of the ordinance amendment is posted on the exterior east wall adjacent to the entrance. A complete copy of the ordinance is also on the Town website.
